Adobe announced today the version 10.1 of its Flash player, which aims to bring the full potential of Flash to know the smartphones. It also confirmed the agreement with Google, Motorola, Nvidia, Nokia, Palm, RIM and Qualcomm.

This means that next year at the latest, we can see videos on our cell phones directly into their browser. Well, almost all Apple did not want to be part of the party, so those with an iPhone will have to keep waiting.

A public beta version for developers of browsers for Windows Mobile, Palm WebOS, and the Windows desktop OS, Macintosh and Linux will be available later this year. The betas for Android and Symbian will appear in early 2010. Adobe announced to be working with RIM to bring Flash to Blackberry.

Flash 10.1 is part of the Open Screen Project, which has Google as part of the team, which aims to become the platform of a new wave of Web applications that work across different devices, operating systems and browsers. Version 10.1 includes support for screens whose orientation is based on an accelerometer, and work in both landscape and portrait mode, and touch screens.
