The well known service Twitter is down, from about two hours. Not yet know the reasons since there has been no official statement, but is considering the possibility of a DDoS attack.

It is curious that services like Twitter Search and Twitter Help work, without apparent delay, indicating that this is not a problem with the capacity of their servers, because when it occurs displays the famous poster of the white whale. Some can be accessed from TweetDeck and their mobile devices but most of PC users have no access.

At this moment many twitter user (including myself) are suffering from communicative withdrawal, so we’re heading to Google to see what happens, ironically turns out to be much slower than Twitter. Update: We just confirmed that they have suffered a DDoS attack, aparetemente so strong that it still can not solve, but will report any developments. Many are so-Twiting from Facebook until things become normal. Twitter user cross your fingers!

Update 10h38: The search for Twitter (http://search.twitter.com) has stopped working too. If someone wanted to know how to shut the trills on the planet, now he knows.
