Now that Android Market to have grown to more than 10,000 applications, Google decided to launch its Android Market version 1.6 codenamed “Donut”, giving a brighter user interface and a more logical and user-friendly navigation between applications.

The cool thing of this update is that you can navigate between categories: games, apps and downloads and not in line with that, android market allows you to view the content separate from payment or free applications and the latest novelty is that every app has finally a screenshot to the user to have a first impression of your appearance.

In October the devices will start coming to the Android Market 1.6, but thanks to oh God Almighty! Open Source  and if you’re the proud owner of a HTC Dream / Magic / Sapphire and are brave you can test the update Cyanogen ROM
